In August as summer was coming to a close, I did a photoshoot for sisters Beth and Sarah Foster. Their parents wanted their portraits done together prior to Beth departing for college two days later. The shoot took place in the park in Proctor, VT and in Center St. Alley in Downtown Rutland, VT.
On a beautiful summer day I did an engagement photo shoot in Historic Proctor and Downtown Rutland Vermont for Al and Sammy while Al was home on leave from his tour in Afghanistan. Al returns in December and I look forward to photographing their wedding in July 2011.
Saturday October 17th was a very special night for Casandra and David. With friends and family gathered the lovely couple joined in marriage. Cas (as she prefers to be called) has been a mutual acquaintance of mine for a few years and I was honored to be her wedding photographer. The ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous sunset ballroom overlooking Lake Champlain in Burlington,VT.
Well what else needs to be said October in VT is the prettiest time of the year.The leaves are turning and all the small towns come to life.Color is around every corner you turn. This is my favorite time of the year to photograph. Below are some of this years photos I was able to get.
Sunday September 6th was a very special day for Tausha and Arcenioand I was happy that she chose me to be part of that day.Tausha and her family have been friends of mine for the past 10 years.The wedding and reception were held at the Canadian Club in Barre,VT.Here are some of the highlights from their day.
Miranda’s photo shoot took place on Labor day at her family’s home in Berlin,VT.Miranda has a love of horse’s and her father’s “66″ corvette convertible. I incorporated her ideas into our shoot and had a blast.She was easy to work with and has a great personality.Below are some of the favorites from that day.
So one of my best friends called me and said he needed a photo shoot done on his Mk5 gti and his girlfriends Audi TT for Performance VW magazine .Who am I to say no to my best friend anyways. So we did the photo shoot on a cold October morning which consisted of some rollers and static shots as well. Here some of our favorites.
On my quest to visit as many national parks as I can in the us I had the opportunity to visit Shenandoah for a few days.The drive up and down skyline drive was amazing and I even ran into a few bears as well. I stayed at the skyland resort overlooking the mountains and was even greeted by a dozen or so deer. Here are some photos from our adventure.
This was my first trip to Virginia and I had a blast. I visited Shenandoah national park ( which we will cover later) and the Lura caverns . While in the area I swung over into West Virginia and visited the glade creek grist mill and several waterfalls.On the list was blackwater falls,hill creek falls and the falls of elakala.
Foliage foliage foliage its everywhere this weekend! October in VT is a true favorite of mine. Roaming the villages and shops and seeing all the tourist is a true VT experience that everyone should experience in their lifetime.All the color on the leaves makes for great backdrops while taking landscape photos of the area.
